Privacy Policy
This website (dzilp.com) is the personal website of Daniel Zilper and is operated by Open Aura LLC ("Open Aura", "we", "us"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have designed this site to collect as little personal information as possible.
1. Information collected
Information you provide directly. This site has no contact forms. If you choose to email us using a link on the site, we will receive the information you include in that email (such as your name, email address, and message).
Information collected automatically. Like virtually all websites, the hosting provider that serves this site (Vercel Inc.) automatically logs basic technical information for security and reliability, which may include your IP address, browser type, device information, and the pages requested. This site does not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or non-essential cookies.
2. How information is used
Information is used only to: (a) operate, secure, and maintain the site; and (b) respond to you if you contact us. We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Cookies
This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies are strictly necessary for the site to function. Because no non-essential cookies are used, no cookie-consent banner is presented.
4. Third parties
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., which processes technical/log data as described above. If you email us, your message is handled by our email provider. We do not share your information with any other third parties except as required by law.
5. Data retention
Server logs are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period under their standard practices. Emails you send us are retained for as long as needed to correspond with you and keep records.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any right, email dash.zilp@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
California residents: We do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7. Children's privacy
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. International visitors
The site is operated from the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the U.S.
9. Security
Reasonable measures are used to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes.
